👶 What ages is the Koalaroo Summer Program for?
Koalaroo's Summer Program is open to children ages 18 months to 6 years, and early walkers from 12 months are welcome too — toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarten-age (pre-K) children — grouped into four age bands: 18 months–2.5 years, 2.5–3.5 years, 3.5–4.5 years, and 4.5–6 years.
💰 Are there any discounts?
Yes! A sibling discount of $5 per day is always available, and we offer special summer discounts when you book all 8 weeks or enrol more than one child — just ask and we'll put together the best rate for your family.
💳 Is Koalaroo a CWELCC centre? Can I claim childcare on my taxes?
Koalaroo is an independent, private preschool and is not part of the CWELCC ($10/day) program. However, families typically can claim childcare fees through the federal Child Care Expense Deduction and Ontario's childcare tax credit at tax time — so a portion may come back as a tax refund. Amounts depend on your household; please confirm with a tax professional.

The program runs at Koalaroo Preschool, a licensed daycare and childcare centre at 28 Commerce Park Dr in Barrie, Ontario, with three natural outdoor play spaces on real grass.
📅 Can I book individual weeks, or do I have to sign up for the whole summer?
You book week by week. Choose one week, a few, or all eight — only the weeks your family needs. Spaces are limited per age group and are not held until you receive an email confirmation.
💵 How much does the Summer Program cost in 2026?
Standard weeks are $360 for children currently enrolled at Koalaroo and $385 for all other children. Weeks 5 and 8 (each with one closure day) are $285 enrolled / $310 other. Sibling and multi-week discounts are available. Payment is due in full before the first day of the program each month.
