Outdoor Classroom

Separate from our existing and AWESOME play area!

Our Outdoor Classroom is a nature-based learning environment - not a playground (although it's incredibly fun!)... Each of our groups work within a schedule to utilize the classroom using it for teacher-led instruction; independent learning and group activities using their imaginations to create unforgettable and enjoyable learning experiences, using - as much as possible - natural materials. We encourage the children to challenge their physical abilities through (supervised) risky play.

Areas include: A dry River Bed for digging and dumping; a Water Wall; Rock Wall; Mud Kitchen; Potting/Gardening area; Construction Area to name just a few.
