Director / Wallaby Teacher
Mrs. Andrea (Annie) Meechan, Director of Koalaroo Preschool, is qualified and experienced in child care and education. She is a qualified N.N.E.B. (English equivalent to ECE) and also holds a Bachelor of Learning Management, qualifying her as a teacher. She is registered with both the College of Early Childhood Educators and the Ontario College of Teachers. She holds a current First Aid and CPR certificate and also a Food Handlers certificate.
Mrs. Meechan and Chef Steve opened Koalaroo Preschool with a definite vision in their minds - they wanted to provide the best educational and nutritional programs that they possibly could. They, and their staff, have worked hard to do just that and both sides of Koalaroo Preschool - the curriculum and meals - just keep getting better!
Mrs. Meechan is also the mother of five children - including two sets of twins! - and proud grandmother of eight! With over 40 years experience in the education and child care fields, Annie is prepared for pretty much anything!
